Why Spanish? Most language clubs in Britain still focus on French, whereas research suggests that parents have a preference to their children learning Spanish, as it is far more widely used.

According to Encyclopaedia Britannica 417 million people speak Spanish worldwide.
It is the second most natively spoken language in the world after Mandarin Chinese.

We believe that it is important that parents and their children are given an opportunity to learn this language well, and from a young age.

Benefits of learning a 2nd language. Studies show that a person who is bilingual or multilingual can make a greater salary than a computer programmer or engineer, because they can use their abilities in foreign language to obtain success in a wider range of career paths.
Also, in 2004, a study by University College of London (UCL) examined the brains of 105 people who could speak more than one language.
The study found that people who learned a second language when younger had denser grey matter than those who learned one later.
Other research has shown that early exposure to a second language increases divergent thinking strategies, helping not only in language related tasks, but also in areas such as maths.
